Have you tried a download manager? I am using DAP and am doing much better than that!

I have found that the GetRight, download manager worked great for me. I use firefox though.

Does anyone have any advice for making our downloads faster at the server end. We want to add a "m*y space" type of system to the sites below and allow video features.

Do we need to use special servers, special processors or special programs to allow the right performance of adding video capibilities to our sites?

Any information on this would be greatly appreaciated.

We use dell servers for one of our music/video sites and have not had any problems for a while. When we has the system on a public server we had all kinds of slow downloads and music that would not play right through. If you are doing a music site the right way to go is a dedicated server.
